I am not the biggest fan of exercise. Yes, I admit it, but I am a big fan of NOT being sick. Combine that with having type II diabetes and you can end up with a mix for unhealthy living.
One of goals for the new year is to exercise more and we all know how hard it can be to stick to your New Year's resolutions. You wait with baited breath for January 1st to roll around and start out with enthusiasm only to lose steam as the days go by.

I have always been a great fan of Leslie Sansone's walking videos and have fond memories of breaking a sweat walking miles and miles at home with my sisters, but after having four children somewhere along the way those dvd's began collecting dust!
So yesterday I loaded up the doubles stroller and headed to the park with my two babies and 5 year old and we power walked it for about 20 minutes to reach the first goal of 2,000 steps! When I finished I wanted to high-five somebody but my 5 year old son was only interested in taking a break after running around the park continuously with his dump truck. Oh, well.
